Pontiac´s Grand Prix GXP Sedan - August 30, 2005
Look closely at Pontiac´s high-powered Grand Prix GXP sedan and you´ll notice something very different from traditional performance cars.
The front wheels and tires are actually one inch wider than the rear wheels and tires. The front wheels measure 18 x 8 inches and are mounted on P255/45R18 99W speed-rated Bridgestone Potenza tires. The rear wheels measure 18 x 7 inches and are wrapped by P225/50R18 94W speed-rated Bridgestone Potenza tires.
The wider front wheels and tires help the Grand Prix GXP achieve more neutral cornering characteristics, while bolstering overall handling and braking capability.
